5 Places You Should Visit And You Will Never Take Life For Granted Again

Five significant locations possess the capacity to profoundly transform our perception of life and instill a sense of gratitude within us. Often, we take our existence and the myriad blessings it encompasses for granted, failing to acknowledge the inherent value of health, freedom, and love. By visiting these places, we confront the sobering realities of life that can awaken a deeper appreciation for what we have. A hospital, a graveyard, a burial site, a maternity ward, and a prison each serve as poignant reminders of our shared humanity and the fleeting nature of our existence. Engaging with these environments allows us to realign our perspectives and recognize the importance of living consciously, fostering a profound understanding of life's true essence.

Let’s Talk.

A discourse on five pivotal locales that serve as profound reminders of the fragility and preciousness of life unfolds with a fervent call to visit such places. The speaker elucidates how our daily existence often leads to a pernicious complacency, where the inherent beauty of life is taken for granted. By advocating for visits to a hospital, the speaker compels us to witness the struggles of individuals fighting for survival, thereby prompting us to recognize health as a paramount blessing. This experience is juxtaposed with a visit to a graveyard, where the ephemeral nature of life becomes starkly apparent as the rich and the poor alike are united in their mortality. The speaker emphasizes that such realizations can inspire a life lived with purpose and humility. In a similar vein, attending a burial serves as a poignant reminder of the fleeting nature of time and the importance of cherishing each moment, as life can change in an instant. Furthermore, the speaker encourages a visit to a maternity ward, where the innocence and potential of newborns starkly contrast with our adult worries and ego. Finally, a trip to a prison illustrates the value of freedom in a manner that is often overlooked, compelling us to appreciate the simple joys of life. Ultimately, the speaker encourages a conscious engagement with life, urging us to number our days wisely and to seek gratitude in the everyday.

Takeaways:

  • Life is often taken for granted, and we must recognize its true value.
  • Visiting a hospital reveals the importance of health and the struggle for life.
  • Graveyards remind us that life is fleeting and we must live with purpose.
  • Attending a burial teaches us that time is precious and not guaranteed.
  • A maternity ward shows that all children are born equal, full of potential.
  • Prison visits highlight the value of freedom and simple joys we often overlook.

Speaker A:

Five places you should visit and you will never take life for granted again.

Speaker A:

You see, friends, we take life for granted all the time.

Speaker A:

Living, being alive, having people that love us, we look at it and we just say it's normal.

Speaker A:

Having the freedom to speak, having, you know, good health and all these things.

Speaker A:

Sometimes we just look at it and we don't see it as a blessing.

Speaker A:

But most people only understand life when they see the comfort that they have always been having is no longer there.

Speaker A:

The entertainment that they had, the money, the social media.

Speaker A:

There are places on earth that can actually humble your ego and can awaken gratitude and even completely change how you think.

Speaker A:

Sometimes wisdom is not learned in classrooms.

Speaker A:

It is learned by observing human reality.

Speaker A:

So here are five places that I would want.

Speaker A:

Maybe at some point in your life, just visit often, once in a while.

Speaker A:

Whenever you feel that it's like you're losing the meaning of life, go and visit those places and you're going to realign how you see life.

Speaker A:

Number one, visit a hospital.

Speaker A:

Just walk through a hospital ward and you're going to see people fighting for one more breath.

Speaker A:

They are fighting for one more chance, praying to God, please, can you have mercy on me?

Speaker A:

One more morning, you will realize that health is wealth.

Speaker A:

Some people are not praying for cars.

Speaker A:

They are not praying for relationships, for.

Speaker A:

For money.

Speaker A:

They're only praying to survive just one more night.

Speaker A:

And at this moment, when you go to those places, you're going to rethink about your life and your life choices and you're going to say, lord, I'm really grateful for the things that you've given unto me.

Speaker A:

Number two, you need to visit a graveyard.

Speaker A:

In a graveyard, the rich and the poor, the famous and the unknown, the powerful and the weak, all become equal.

Speaker A:

And titles in this place, they disappear.

Speaker A:

Pride disappears.

Speaker A:

You begin to understand that life is indeed temporary.

Speaker A:

And that is why you need to live with purpose and with humility.

Speaker A:

Because this place is going to humble everyone.

Speaker A:

When you look at that place, it just looks cold and lonely.

Speaker A:

And it doesn't matter who was rich, who was a professor, who was poor, who was this.

Speaker A:

It's all the same dark place, humbles many people and deletes ego.

Speaker A:

Number three, you need to attend a burial.

Speaker A:

One day you're going to understand that it's just a matter of minutes.

Speaker A:

A man who was called him, he is there professor, is there, doctor, so and so, is there engineer, so and so is there dad, boss, my husband.

Speaker A:

All of a sudden, the same person today starts being called.

Speaker A:

His body is lying There, life moves very quickly.

Speaker A:

One minute a man was full of life and another minute there is nothing about him.

Speaker A:

It's just.

Speaker A:

You're just told the body is right there.

Speaker A:

Burials remind you that time is short and tomorrow is never promised.

Speaker A:

That's why I tell you guys, even as much as you're putting so much into the future, I will invest in this.

Speaker A:

I will have a big house.

Speaker A:

I will have this, I will have that.

Speaker A:

The moment you sit down and you actually realize the reality of life is that you don't own anything.

Speaker A:

Does a deity actually hit you on your mind and you're like, wow, this is a sense.

Speaker A:

This is the reason why again, you need to visit a maternity ward where children are born.

Speaker A:

In a maternity ward, all babies look innocent and full of possibilities.

Speaker A:

No child is born carrying failure, carrying tribe, status, hatred, or even limitation.

Speaker A:

You're going to realize that every great person once entered this world with nothing but only life and potential.

Speaker A:

All these children are equal.

Speaker A:

Beautiful looking, so nice.

Speaker A:

You won't think who is going to be more egoistic than the other.

Speaker A:

You won't know who is going to help the needy.

Speaker A:

You won't know who is going to be the president, who is going to be a cleaner.

Speaker A:

They are all equal.

Speaker A:

And that tells you something so much about life.

Speaker A:

And the final point is that you need to visit prison at some point.

Speaker A:

Go and visit prison.

Speaker A:

And inside prison walls, many people would give anything just to walk freely outside again, freedom becomes more valuable than luxury.

Speaker A:

You begin to appreciate simple things, just like sunlight, movement, family, peace.

Speaker A:

And the things that some people can take for granted in a prison, they are never for granted.

Speaker A:

That good food, that good hug from a brother or a sister or your mother or someone, it's never there.

Speaker A:

And these are the things that you need to understand.

Speaker A:

le says in the book of Psalms:

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, we need to number our days.

Speaker A:

We need to understand that we are not here for life.

Speaker A:

We are here to be able to experience, to live a good life, to be with others and to see life as it comes.

Speaker A:

So my final thought is this.

Speaker A:

Life can become very meaningful when you stop living unconsciously.

Speaker A:

Sometimes the places that break your heart are the same places that are going to awaken your soul.

Speaker A:

So visit these places, let them realign your mind, see life from a different perspective, and you'll be able to be grateful that today you're still here.

Speaker A:

And if you need more insights, go to the link on my bio book in a coaching session.

Speaker A:

I will help you become the best version of yourself if you're a man.

Speaker A:

We have the Men's Conference:

Speaker A:

Be prepared, because we can't wait to be together.

Speaker A:

All right.

Speaker A:

Have a beautiful time.
