Reality is You May Not Be Part Of The Future You Are Struggling For

The episode elucidates the critical reality that the future we strive for may not include us, underscoring the importance of living in the present. Many individuals dedicate their lives to future aspirations, postponing joy, rest, and meaningful relationships under the misguided belief that tomorrow is guaranteed. This tendency to delay living can lead to profound regret, as people often arrive too late to truly experience their lives. We emphasize that the present moment is the only time we genuinely inhabit; thus, it is imperative to recognize that balance in life is not a weakness but rather a manifestation of wisdom. Ultimately, we advocate for an approach to life that values present experiences alongside future ambitions, encouraging listeners to remain engaged in their journeys rather than merely fixating on distant destinations.

In this episode, Keith Muoki shares deep, practical, and spiritually grounded wisdom on relationships, love, mindset, healing, identity, and personal transformation.

This teaching is designed to help you think deeper, understand yourself better, make wiser decisions, and stop living from confusion, pain, fear, or emotional pressure.

Let’s Talk.

The discourse presented encapsulates a profound reflection on the ephemeral nature of existence and the futility of deferring joy and fulfillment in anticipation of a nebulous future. It posits that many individuals inhabit a realm of procrastination, wherein they sacrifice the present under the illusion that tomorrow will afford them the opportunity to relish life. The speaker articulates a stark reminder that the future is inherently uncertain, and thus, one should not postpone their happiness, rest, and interpersonal connections. Instead, an imperative call to action emerges: one must seize the present moment, for it is the only guarantee we possess.

Takeaways:

  • We must acknowledge that the future we strive for may not include us.
  • Many individuals delay their happiness, believing they can find joy in the future.
  • It is imperative to recognize that life does not adhere to our schedules or plans.
  • Delaying enjoyment and rest can lead to a life that is unfulfilled and lacking joy.

Speaker A:

Reality is you may not even be part of the future you are struggling for.

Speaker A:

That's reality.

Speaker A:

Most people live as if tomorrow is promised.

Speaker A:

They delay their joy.

Speaker A:

They postpone their rest.

Speaker A:

You don't even rest.

Speaker A:

You ignore relationships saying tomorrow is when I will enjoy.

Speaker A:

Now let me just look for money.

Speaker A:

They sacrifice their present life completely.

Speaker A:

All in the name of one day.

Speaker A:

One day.

Speaker A:

I will do this.

Speaker A:

One day.

Speaker A:

One day.

Speaker A:

But the truth is simple.

Speaker A:

But of course, sometimes it can be very uncomfortable.

Speaker A:

The future you are building is not guaranteed to include you.

Speaker A:

Life is quite uncertain in these modern times.

Speaker A:

And time is not as patient as we pretend that you know, we try to pretend.

Speaker A:

Oh, time will wait for me.

Speaker A:

Time is not as waiting as patient as you think.

Speaker A:

Let me give you five main points to show you that you just need to live in today.

Speaker A:

Live today.

Speaker A:

Don't really focus about too much about tomorrow.

Speaker A:

Live today.

Speaker A:

Live in the I am number one.

Speaker A:

Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Speaker A:

You plan your work.

Speaker A:

You sacrifice.

Speaker A:

You assume that you will be there tomorrow to enjoy it.

Speaker A:

But life doesn't operate on your schedules.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, this is not fear.

Speaker A:

It is awareness.

Speaker A:

You just have to be aware.

Speaker A:

It should wake you up.

Speaker A:

It should never scare you.

Speaker A:

This is the reality that tomorrow is never guaranteed for you.

Speaker A:

How many people?

Speaker A:

You knew them today, tomorrow.

Speaker A:

You don't know them.

Speaker A:

Past tense.

Speaker A:

We don't see them anymore.

Speaker A:

It is what it is.

Speaker A:

Number two.

Speaker A:

Many people arrive too late to their own life.

Speaker A:

Do you know?

Speaker A:

You have a life that you have to live.

Speaker A:

You have a purpose.

Speaker A:

You have gone.

Speaker A:

Most of these people, they finally make it.

Speaker A:

But their health is gone.

Speaker A:

You have made the money, but you're there.

Speaker A:

Your health is gone.

Speaker A:

Your relationship is already broken.

Speaker A:

Your joy has already faded.

Speaker A:

You are 65 years.

Speaker A:

This is the first time you have what you have been chasing.

Speaker A:

But you have no energy.

Speaker A:

You build something valuable, but you lost yourself in the process.

Speaker A:

What's the need of looking for money?

Speaker A:

Too much.

Speaker A:

But after you make the money, you have no energy to use it.

Speaker A:

What's the need?

Speaker A:

What's the need at that time?

Speaker A:

The doctor is telling you.

Speaker A:

You can't eat meat.

Speaker A:

You can't eat soup.

Speaker A:

You can't eat eggs.

Speaker A:

Why were you even looking for the money anyway?

Speaker A:

What's the point of winning outside and being empty inside?

Speaker A:

That's a reality that you have to face.

Speaker A:

My brothers and my sisters.

Speaker A:

Number three.

Speaker A:

You can delay living for too long.

Speaker A:

I've seen people who just delay living.

Speaker A:

Always saying that I will rest later, I will enjoy later.

Speaker A:

I will love later.

Speaker A:

Let me look first for money.

Speaker A:

Let me look for this life and that life.

Speaker A:

And look for this.

Speaker A:

And look for that.

Speaker A:

How much is enough?

Speaker A:

Do you ever answer yourself this question?

Speaker A:

How much is enough?

Speaker A:

Because all this delaying, delaying later becomes a habit.

Speaker A:

And life quietly passes in the background.

Speaker A:

You don't need permission to live now, my friends.

Speaker A:

Start living now.

Speaker A:

Now is the only time you're promised.

Speaker A:

Now.

Speaker A:

Alright.

Speaker A:

Now is the only time you promised.

Speaker A:

Number four.

Speaker A:

Your presence is the only place you truly exist.

Speaker A:

You see this present moment that you are.

Speaker A:

That's the only moment you truly exist.

Speaker A:

The future is just an idea.

Speaker A:

I will do this.

Speaker A:

I will buy a car.

Speaker A:

I will buy a house.

Speaker A:

I will get married.

Speaker A:

I will fall in love.

Speaker A:

I will.

Speaker A:

I will.

Speaker A:

And when you talk about the past, the past is just a memory.

Speaker A:

It doesn't also exist.

Speaker A:

It's just some images which are captured by your brain and stored in some data.

Speaker A:

If you.

Speaker A:

If today you cannot remember, you have a.

Speaker A:

Let's say a disease which makes you not remember.

Speaker A:

Your past is gone.

Speaker A:

You have no past.

Speaker A:

It's just a memory.

Speaker A:

But your power, your joy, your experience, all these things, they exist now.

Speaker A:

If you lose the present, then you lose everything, my friends.

Speaker A:

You lose everything.

Speaker A:

And number five, which is very important, is that you need to know that balance is not weakness.

Speaker A:

Balance is wisdom.

Speaker A:

You have to balance.

Speaker A:

You can build.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

You can grow.

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

But also you can live.

Speaker A:

Live.

Speaker A:

You can pursue purpose without also abandoning your peace and abandoning love and the things that you were meant to do.

Speaker A:

The goal is not always just to create a future.

Speaker A:

I know the world has lied to you, that you need a better future.

Speaker A:

But when will you ever enjoy this?

Speaker A:

You need to remain alive within the journey.

Speaker A:

This journey of life.

Speaker A:

It's a journey.

Speaker A:

It's not a destination.

Speaker A:

Life is a journey.

Speaker A:

It's not a destination.

Speaker A:

People wake up every day.

Speaker A:

They are running after something that they cannot tell.

Speaker A:

Where are we running to?

Speaker A:

So my final thought is this.

Speaker A:

Do you want to build for the future?

Speaker A:

Yes.

Speaker A:

That's fine.

Speaker A:

But don't disappear while doing this.

Speaker A:

Live.

Speaker A:

The life that you're working for should still include you.

Speaker A:

You should be present, whole and able to experience this life.

Speaker A:

Life is a journey.

Speaker A:

And the moment you understand this, you'll be fulfilled.

Well, it is what it is.
